Template License

Last updated 7 October 2026 · Effective 7 October 2026

The rules for using a template you buy from WeDesignLandingPages.com. Each license covers one website, built for you or for one client.

Plain-English summary: Each license lets you build one website with a template, for yourself or for one client. You can change anything, use the site commercially and skip any credit to us. You cannot resell or share the template, its remix link or its parts, list it on a marketplace, or publish the fictional demo content as if it were real. Fonts, images and other third-party parts keep their own licenses. This summary does not replace the full text below.

1. About this License

WeDesignLandingPages.com (“WDLP”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name of Hardik Dewra, a sole proprietor based in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India.

This Template License (the “License”) is an agreement between you and Hardik Dewra, trading as WeDesignLandingPages.com. It applies to every template license you get from us, whether you pay through our checkout provider (currently planned to be Gumroad), through a marketplace, or to us directly. When a merchant of record such as Gumroad sells to you, it is the seller of your purchase and we are the licensor of the template. By buying a template, or by remixing, downloading or using one that was bought from us, you agree to this License.

“You” means the person or business that bought the license. If you buy for a business, you confirm that you can accept this License for it, and the business holds the license. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.

This License works together with our Refund Policy and our Terms and Conditions. Parts A and C of our Terms apply to your purchase for anything this License and our Refund Policy do not cover. Part C covers general terms such as liability, disputes and governing law. If our Terms conflict with this License or our Refund Policy about a template purchase, this License and the Refund Policy apply.

2. Definitions

In this License:

  • The “template” you buy includes its pages, sections, layouts, styles, copy, code components and files, and any updates we provide.

  • Your “remix link” is the link we give you to copy the template into your Framer account, including any short link that points to it.

  • “End Product” means one website for one person, business, brand or product, published on one main domain and its subdomains. Its drafts, staging copies, test variants, backups and language versions are part of the same End Product.

  • “Client” means a person or business you build an End Product for.

  • “Demo Content” means the fictional businesses, people, names, logos, testimonials, reviews, numbers, results, case studies, addresses, prices and other claims shown in a template.

  • “Third-Party Materials” means material in a template that comes from someone else, such as fonts, stock images, icons and code, and stays under its owner’s license.

3. Your license

3.1 What you get

Templates are licensed to you. We do not sell you the template itself, and we keep ownership of it and of every right this License does not expressly give you.

When you have paid in full, we give you a “Standard License”. It is a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the template to create one End Product, for yourself or for one Client, in return for the price you paid. The license lasts for the full term of copyright in the template unless it ends under section 10. It does not lapse if you do not use it for a while. You can transfer it only as section 6 allows.

Non-exclusive means we can keep selling the template, and other people can build websites from it too.

The Standard License is the only license we offer. If you buy a bundle, you get a separate Standard License for each template in it. If a bundle includes templates we release later, you get the ones the product page described when you bought it, each with its own Standard License.

3.2 What you can and cannot do

Websites

You can: Build one End Product, with as many pages as it needs. Mockups and pitches that are never published do not count as a second website.

You cannot: Use the template, or a recognizable part of it such as a section, layout or code component, in a second website. Each End Product needs its own license.

Clients

You can: Build the End Product for one Client, charge for your work and hand it over (section 6).

You cannot: Use one license for two Clients, or for a new website after you hand the first one over.

Changes

You can: Edit, remove, rearrange or extend any part, and combine it with your own work.

You cannot: Say you designed the template itself, for example in award entries or design galleries. Showing your finished website in your portfolio is fine.

Commercial use

You can: Use the End Product to sell products or services, advertise, collect leads and earn money. You do not need to credit us.

You cannot: Use our name or logo to suggest that we made, endorse or are linked to your website or business, unless we agree in writing.

Sharing

You can: Give your team, contractors and Client access to the project, only for your End Product (section 4).

You cannot: Share, give away, sublicense, rent or lend the template, its remix link, its files or any part of them, or make your copy remixable or downloadable by others.

Reselling

You can: Sell or transfer your finished website, together with its license (section 6).

You cannot: Sell the template or its parts, changed or not, as a template, theme, kit, starter site, UI library or design file, or list it on Framer Marketplace, Gumroad, Contra or any other marketplace or store.

Demo Content

You can: Use the demo copy as a starting point, as long as everything you publish is true for your business (section 5).

You cannot: Publish the Demo Content, such as names, logos, testimonials, reviews, numbers or results, as if it were real.

You also may not use the template or its parts to create templates, themes, kits, component libraries or similar products, or as training material for AI tools that generate designs.

5. Demo Content and AI-made material

Templates come with Demo Content so you can see how the page reads. The businesses, people, names, logos, testimonials, reviews, numbers, results, case studies, addresses and prices in it are made up, even where they read as real. If a demo name matches a real business or person, that is a coincidence.

Before you publish, replace or remove all Demo Content. You may use the template’s demo copy as a starting point for your own words, as long as you replace every fictional fact and claim and everything you publish is true for your business. Do not publish the demo testimonials, reviews, numbers or results, or present them as coming from real people. You are responsible for every claim on your website.

Some images, illustrations and text in our templates may be made with the help of AI tools and reviewed by us. AI-made material may not be unique and may not be protected by copyright, so we cannot give you exclusive rights in it.

6. Building a site for a client

If you build the End Product for a Client, the license for that End Product moves with it. When you hand over the website or transfer the Framer project, the Client may use, edit and run that one website under this License. Tell your Client that this License applies, for example by sending them a link to this page.

After the handover, you cannot use that license again. You may keep an archive copy of the project for your records and your portfolio, but not to build another website.

The same applies if you sell or transfer your own website: its license moves with it to the new owner.

Apart from these cases, you may not transfer or assign your license. A contractor or agency may build your End Product for you, and may use the template only for that purpose.

7. Fonts, images and other third-party materials

Templates can include Third-Party Materials. They stay under their own licenses. This License does not give you any rights in them, and you must follow their license terms. Our own code components are part of the template and are covered by this License.

  • Fonts: fonts in a template may come from Framer’s font library, Google Fonts or other providers, and their licenses differ. Check that each font’s license covers your use, for example in a logo, an app, ads or print, and buy a license or switch fonts where needed.

  • Images: demo images are there to show the layout. Treat them as placeholders and replace them before you publish, especially images of people, places, products or work that visitors could take as real. If you keep a demo image, you are responsible for checking that you may use it for your purpose.

  • Icons and code: icon sets and third-party code keep their own licenses, which may require you to keep a license notice.

  • Framer: you need a Framer account to use a template. Your use of Framer, including hosting and publishing, is under Framer’s own terms and pricing.

If you think a template includes something we did not have the right to include, tell us. We will look into it and replace it where needed.

8. Updates and support

8.1 Updates

We may update a template to fix problems, keep it working with Framer or improve it. You can get updates to a template you bought for as long as we list that template for sale. We decide what goes into an update and when, and an update may change the template’s design or structure. We may make updates available through your remix link, your purchase or download page, or by email.

Updates do not change projects you have already remixed. To use an update, remix the latest version or copy the updated parts into your project. Updates are covered by this License and do not add extra End Products.

We may stop listing a template at any time. When we do, its updates stop, and your license for your End Product continues.

8.2 Support

While we list a template, we answer setup questions about it by email. Setup questions cover things like how to remix the template, where its styles, colors, fonts and components live, how its sections and breakpoints are built, and how to replace the Demo Content.

Support does not cover custom design or development, writing or editing your content, third-party tools, plugins or integrations, hosting, domains or DNS, SEO, or problems caused by changes you or others made. If something in the template itself is broken, tell us and we will look at it. Our Refund Policy explains what happens with defects. For anything beyond setup, we can quote for paid services under our Terms.

Email admin@wedesignlandingpages.com with “Template support” and the template name in the subject line. We usually reply within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in India).

9. Your website, your responsibility

You are responsible for your End Product and how you use it. That includes:

  • Its content and claims.

  • Its legal pages and notices, such as privacy, cookie and accessibility notices.

  • Any forms or tools you connect, and the personal data they collect.

  • Your backups.

  • Following the laws that apply to your business and your visitors.

Do not use a template for a website that is unlawful or deceptive, or that infringes anyone’s rights.

10. When your license ends

Your license depends on full payment and on following this License.

Your license ends automatically if:

  • You receive a full refund of what you paid for the template, or you cancel or withdraw from the purchase. A refund of a duplicate purchase ends only the license from that duplicate purchase.

  • Your payment is reversed through a chargeback or payment dispute and not restored to us.

  • You resell, share, sublicense or give away the template, its remix link or its parts, list them on a marketplace, or use the template in a second website without a license for it.

A partial refund or a price reduction does not end your license.

We may also end your license by email if you break any other part of this License and do not fix the problem within 14 days of our email.

When your license ends, you must stop using the template, delete your copies, remixed projects and files, and take down any End Product that uses it, unless you buy a new license. We may ask marketplaces, hosts and platforms to remove copies used without a license. Any part of this License that by its nature should continue after your license ends continues to apply, such as our ownership of the template (section 3.1), the limits in section 3.2, and sections 5, 9, 11, 12 and 13.

11. No warranty

We provide templates “as is” and “as available”. Apart from the commitments in our Refund Policy and any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, we make no promises about templates. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties and conditions, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not promise that a template will meet your needs, be free of errors, work with every browser, device, plugin or future version of Framer, or produce any conversion rate, sales, leads, ranking or other result. Our Disclaimer explains more.

12. Liability and disputes

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to a template or this License is limited to the greater of US$100 and the price you paid for that template. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, sales, conversions, data or goodwill.

These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, such as liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, they do not affect your statutory rights.

Disputes about a template or this License are handled under the disputes section in Part C of our Terms and Conditions. That section also explains the options consumers have, including bringing claims where they live when the law gives them that right.

13. Buying on a marketplace

If you buy a template on a marketplace or through a checkout provider, such as Framer Marketplace, Gumroad or Contra, its terms may include license terms that apply to every purchase there. Those terms also apply to your purchase, and we read this License so that it fits with them. Where a marketplace’s mandatory license terms restrict you more than this License does, those terms apply. Where a marketplace lets sellers set the license, this License is the license we grant. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and the marketplace’s own refund rules, which this License does not limit.

This License covers templates you buy. If you get a template from us for free on a marketplace, that marketplace’s terms decide how you may use it.

14. Changes to this License

We may update this License. When we do, we post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The version that applied when you bought a template applies to that purchase. A newer version applies to a purchase only if you make it after the change or agree to the newer version. Getting an update to a template does not change which version of this License applies to it. We keep previous versions of this License. Ask us for a copy.

15. Contact

For questions about this License or a template, email admin@wedesignlandingpages.com with “Template support” in the subject line. Our Contact page lists other ways to reach us.

This License is written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version controls.
