Manchester / Est. 2015 / Brand and build
We rebrand you in
eleven weeks and put
the site live ourselves.
Broadsheet is a nine person studio in Ancoats, Manchester. 186 launches since 2015, and we build every site in house, so your market sees the work in week eleven. Fixed scope, fixed price, the same four people from the first customer interview to launch night.

The numbers, and where they come from
186 covers everything since 2015. 104 of those are full Launch Blocks; the other 82 are the smaller hourly projects we took before 2019. Client figures come from the 24 clients who share their reporting with us, refreshed every January.

People on staff, no freelancer relay
The brand book nobody opened
Y
ou paid a London agency £42,000 and received 68 slides. Two typefaces your team cannot license, a green that turns grey on a projector, and a tone of voice chapter written by somebody who never sat in on a sales call. Eight months later the homepage still says exactly what it said before, because nobody in that room was ever going to build it. In fact, the last studio you hired sent the Figma link and the final invoice in the same email.
The handover cliff
Design finishes, build starts, and the two teams have never spoken. Your marketing manager becomes the project manager by accident and spends a quarter chasing file exports.
Files you cannot legally use
Trial fonts with no licence, a logo delivered as a flattened PNG at 1200px, and a brand colour that only exists as a screenshot. Every future asset turns into a support ticket.
Eight months with nothing public
The work lives in three tools your customers will never open. Nothing ships, so nothing sells, and the board asks what the £42,000 bought.

The offer
The Launch Block
Eleven weeks, one price, four people who stay on the job from the first customer interview to the night we push it live. Why? Because the damage in this industry happens at the handovers, so we took them out. Strategy, identity, copy and build sit in one room in Ancoats, and the site is public before the final invoice is raised.
01
One team, no relay
The strategist who ran your customer interviews writes the homepage. The designer who drew the mark builds the components. Nobody gets briefed twice.
02
Fixed price, written scope
£48,000, agreed in week zero and signed. Scope changes go in writing or they do not happen, and since 2015 that has cost us three projects.
03
Live before the last payment
The final third falls due once the site is public, not once the deck has been presented. It concentrates the mind considerably.
What eleven weeks buys you
Everything below sits inside the fixed price. No line on this list has ever been sold back to a client afterwards as an extra.
01
Positioning line and messaging map
One sentence your sales team repeats without being asked, plus the 12 proof points that sit underneath it.
02
Full identity system
Wordmark, type licences bought in your company name, colour with print and screen values, and a 24 page usage guide, which is 44 pages shorter than the one you are replacing.
03
Website, designed and built
Up to 14 pages in Framer or Webflow, built by us, loading in under 1.2 seconds on a 4G connection.
04
Copy for every page
Written from your customer interviews. We read your competitors once, in week one, and then close the tabs.
05
Photography direction
A shot list, a photographer brief, and one of us on set for the day so you do not end up back on stock.
06
Ninety days after launch
Unlimited asset requests for those ninety days, plus a recorded handover walking your team through adding pages themselves. Most clients use seven of the requests, and two have used none.
Eleven weeks, out loud
You get a Friday note every week that says what moved, what did not, and what we need from you by Monday morning.
Weeks 1 to 2
Evidence
Six of your customers interviewed, two live sales calls listened to end to end, and every lost deal note from the past twelve months read properly.
Weeks 3 to 5
Territory
Three routes, presented in a room and argued out loud. You choose one on the day, so bring whoever actually decides.
Weeks 6 to 8
System
Identity built out, type licensed in your name, components designed against the real copy, which is already written by then.
Weeks 9 to 11
Build and launch
We build the site, load the content, run the redirects off your old URLs, and stay on the call the night it goes public.
Three we can show the numbers for
We publish 12 cases in full with their numbers attached, including the two where the first quarter went backwards and what we changed after. Three are here.

Tenfold Coffee
Rebrand and store build, 2024. Subscription signups went from 340 a month to 1,190 in the first quarter after launch, on the same ad spend.

Fenwick Rowe
Identity and site for an Edinburgh wealth firm, 2024. Enquiries from clients holding over £1M in assets tripled in six months. The only difference was the website and how the front desk answered the phone.

Halden Bikes
Brand and direct to consumer store, 2025. Returns fell from 19 percent to 7 percent after we rewrote the sizing pages and reshot every frame in daylight.

What clients said afterwards
“They interviewed our customers before they drew a single thing, and the line they came back with is the one I now use in every pitch. We went live on a Tuesday. By that Friday two wholesalers had emailed us first.”
Priya Raghavan
Founder, Tenfold Coffee
“Our last agency gave us a beautiful PDF and a dead end. Broadsheet handed over a live site, the font licences in our own name, and a recorded handover showing my team how to add a case study. We have shipped 40 pages since without calling them once.”
Dan Okonkwo
Marketing director, Verity Health
“I was braced to be sold to for eleven weeks. What I got was a Friday note every week, including the two weeks where the honest update was that a route had failed and they were starting it again.”
Ellen Marsh
Managing partner, Fenwick Rowe
One price, written down before we start
Studios our size usually quote between £60,000 and £90,000 for this and then bill it hourly. We stopped billing hourly in 2019 because it quietly rewarded everybody for working slowly.
The Launch Block
£48,000
Eleven weeks. Strategy, identity, copy, photography direction and the built site. Three payments, and the final third is only due once the site is public.
Studio retainer
£9,500
a month
For after launch. Two of our team for roughly eight working days a month: campaign landing pages, new case studies, and the quarterly photography. Three month minimum, then rolling on 30 days notice.
The week five exit
If none of the three territories in week five lands, you can stop there and pay for the five weeks used, which has come to £21,000 both times it has happened. Two clients have taken it since 2015, and both came back the following year.

The things you would ask on the call anyway
Can you do it faster than eleven weeks?
Sometimes. We ran it in eight for a funding announcement and it cost 20 percent more, because two other projects got pushed to make room. We will not run it in four for any money.
We already have a logo we like. Can we keep it?
Yes, and about a third of clients do. The price drops to £39,000, because the identity build is the expensive third of the block. The eleven weeks stay the same and weeks six to eight go into the site and the copy instead.
Who owns the files and the fonts?
You do, on handover day. Type licences are bought in your company name and the invoices come across with the source files. We keep nothing back and there is no ongoing licence fee to us.
Framer or Webflow?
Framer for most, Webflow when you need heavier CMS relationships. If your team lives in WordPress we will say so on the call and point you at two studios who do it better than we would.
Do you work outside the UK?
Yes. 41 of the 186 launches were outside the UK, mostly Ireland, the Netherlands and the US east coast. We need two hours of working overlap or we turn it down.
What if our founder hates all three routes?
That has happened twice. Both times the interviews had missed somebody senior. We redo the territory round at our own cost, once.
Send us the page you are embarrassed to show people
We record a 12 minute teardown of your homepage and the last three things you sent to market, ads, emails or a pitch deck, and send it back within two working days, hire us or not. To date, over 400 of them have gone out. Around one in ten turns into a call, and we are content with that ratio.
Back in two working days. We do not add you to a list.

If you would rather talk. There is no deck. We ask about your last five lost deals.
Ancoats, Manchester. Replies before 6pm most working days.
